Well, The festival run is over for another year. It's been a bit hectic and connect was no different.
Shooting a festival is an exhausting experience for any photographer with little or no time to rest or relax. What little down time you get is spent editing, organising and publishing images. Many larger publications will send two or three photographers to an event in order to ensure that they can get coverage of every part of the festival. As a freelance, sole, photographer, it is difficult for me cover absolutely everything so each day I must carefully decide and plan what I wish to cover. This can mean I can miss some fantastic opportunities but can't really be avoided.
Still, the weekend went well and I managed to get some good results. Images up at www.virtualfestivals.com.
