This morning I shot a fairtrade fashion show as part of the festival of spirituality.
It was a tough shoot with very little lighting (although it was in a stunning setting) so I was forced to whip out my trusty 50mm prime lens in order to get some nice looking shots.
The show itself was quite enjoyable and it was nice to have a fashion shoot where the ethical aspects of modern clothing manufacturing were discussed. There were some interesting clothes which were inspired by African prints tailored in a more contemporary manner and some good ideas which incorporated handkerchiefs.

Lovely photograph. It's nice to see a fashion photographer with respect for ethical fashion. Many photographers I've come across have some really bizarre and unsustainable ideas about fashion.
Thanks. It was an interesting show (if a little amateurish). It would be great to shoot more fashion work which was ethically motivated.
All too often people think that "ethical clothing" means drab ponchos and what not. The show was good for highlighting that it needn't be that way.
