Mel Young, President of the homeless world cup.

On Tuesday, I was asked to take portrait shots of Homeless World Cup president, Mel Young for an accompanying feature in September's issue of the "Skinny".

If you've never heard of the Homeless world cup then check out their site for information about their fantastic work. This year the tournament is held in December in Melbourne, Australia with Brazil defending the title.

Mel was a pleasure to shoot and was full of enthusiasm about the project (which is now in it's 5th year). There is an 80% success rate of getting the participants off the streets permanently and sponsorships come from such companies as Nike, Uefa and The Big Issue.

I can only wish all involved in the project the best of luck this year and admire about how good the work they're doing is.
