The Caravan.

This was the first of 3 jobs yesterday - shooting images to accompany an article for Fest Magazine's review of "The Caravan".

This play is performed and staged in a Caravan parked in the Pleasance venue car park. It was a bit of an odd shoot as conditions inside the venue were a bit cramped (maximum audience capacity is 8!) but I got some good results.

The play is based on interviews conducted with flood victims from England who were forced to live in caravans upon the loss of their homes. It's an interesting concept which was very well executed by the cast although it must be slightly odd for the audience to be in such close proximity with the cast... even sharing the same sofa for some scenes.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Intimate!

It was! But very interesting from what I saw. Apparently they once had just one bloke in the audience who brought along a bottle of cider and proceeded to get drunk through the show. That can't have been much fun for the actors....

Sounds like a good night out. Getting pissed and heckling.

Alas, it's in the middle of the day... still - if you fancy getting pissed at 1 in the afternoon and shouting at someone 2 feet from you then i say "go nuts"!
